Will Spring ever arrive?

May 4th, 2009 by eric

Every year it seems that Spring gets compressed more and more between the winter and summer season. Is this global warming or climate shift? I don’t know but it wreaks havoc on the powersports business. When will people know its time to get out and ride and when will there excitement built toward owning a new bike? Very challenging for those of us in the business indeed. But despite it all, summer will come and people will ride. We will continue to roll out the new models onto the front lawn every day and be ready to offer a value price and a high level of service to our customers. We are here…ready to go!

Making Popoli Powersports #1

April 19th, 2009 by eric

My name is Eric Riddle and I am owner and general manager of Popoli Powersports in Westfield, MA. We are a full service Honda, Yamaha, United Motors dealership selling and servicing some of the best Motorcycles, ATV’s, Personal Watercraft and Scooters in the world.

My team and I have been working toward making Popoli’s the ultimate destination dealership for all your motorcycling needs since my purchase of the business in September of 2006. Since then we have moderninzed the operation by adding several new procedures and processes designed to provide our customers with a level of experience that is unparalleled in the industry. We have come far in the last two and a half years but have still so far to go.

I have established this blog site so that I may engage our customers and the general riding public at large, in order to gather input on what you would like to see in your ideal dealership.

We are limited by facility and the challenges of the macro economy in terms of the physical changes we can make in the very short term, however the sky is the limit as we look forward the mid and long term future.

I would very much appreciate your input which will come directly to me. Tell me your likes and dislikes about our store. Tell me the positive experiences you have had with other dealerships and tell me what has really turned you off. Since we are in the business of providing a “lifestyle” experience to our customers, tell me how I can help you make your riding experience more passionate and exciting.

Do you like our displays?
Do you like our selection of accessories?
Is our pricing fair for Value received?
What should we have more or less of?
What is your opinion of our Service Department?

Feel free to offer input straight to the top of the organization where you will see and experience directly, your suggestions put to action in creating YOUR dealership experience.

Many Thanks and see you on the road!
